Cat Collars

dog collar1 150x150 Cat CollarsCat collars come in all types of materials with various patterns.  When choosing a cat collar it is important to buy one that will expand if your cat gets caught on something.  This is especially important if your cat is going to be outside.  Collars can get caught on fences or tree branches and your cat will need to be able to escape.  For this reason, you don’t want the collar on too tight either.

Whether or not you buy your cat a fancy collar with rhinestones, or a simple white flea collar, check it often for tightness, especially if the cat is still growing.

Some collars come with bells that cats generally don’t like.  If your cat is attacking birds and you want the birds to be warned, then a bell is perfect.  A bell inside the house, though will probably just get on your nerves.  Watch the cat below and see how it reacts to the bell on its collar and the collar being a little bit too long.
