Cat Vitamins

There is great debate about whether or not cats need to take vitamins or other supplements.  Some veterinarians believe vitamins are a waste of money and could even be harmful. Others believe it makes a dramatic difference in health and helps them live longer.

In the book, The Very Healthy Cat, Dr. Wendell Belfield devotes a chapter to Vitamin C.  He believes it it’s ability to improve immunity, treat viral  and bacterial infections, detoxify the body, and more.  When a cat is on a raw diet that is rich in fresh fruit and vegetables, cats won’t need much supplemental Vitamin C.

Natural cat vitamins and synthetically produced vitamins and amino acids are not the same.  Look for natural cat vitamins, minerals, and amino acids if you are considering giving supplements to your cat.

  • Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Safari. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The design look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Thanks
